About 30 years ago I had a deep well keel boat that needed the keel removed and reset. To do the job, I created a special driver to turn the keel nuts since there was no leverage working inside the keel well.
The tool is a "T" bar with a 1/2 inch socket driver welded to one end of the "T". The driver is 65" tall and the turning bar is about 34" across. Any 1/2" drive socket will fit the 1/2" drive.
This tool is available to anyone wanting to tighten keel bolts or do more extensive keel work.
